The station, which dates from 1894, is also part of the local heritage. All trains between Guingamp and Paimpol pass through here. Throughout the year Pontrieux sees regular numbers of regional train (TER) passengers and, since 2001, an explosion in the number of tourists in the town brought here by the steam railway.
