The historical heritage of the commune of Plourivo, "Traou Nez Manor" is also known as "La Maison de l’Estuaire." Since 1982, the coastal conservation body Conservatoire du Llittoral has been progressively buying up the 800 hectares of woodlands covering the Penhoat-Lancerf hills. The French Forestry Commission (ONF) manages the forestry activity there and the commune of Plourivo runs La Maison de l'Estuaire.
