The Chemins de Fer de Provence operates a return rail service between Nice and Digne-les-Bains four times daily. The service provides a 151km link between the Alpes Maritimes and Alpes de Haute Provence départements and includes around ten station stops.
There is also an urban service between Nice and Colomars-Plan du Var which operates twenty-two trains per day.
The service stops at regular halts every three to five kilometres to enable walkers to leave the train.
Car park at the stations in Nice (fee: €0.90 / hour - please note: limited to 4 hours) and Lingostière (Plaine du Var) (around ten spaces; free). Free parking is available at all of the other stations.
Places cannot be booked in advance except for groups of 15 or more.

The trains operated by Chemins de Fer de Provence are not equipped for disabled travellers; however, the train crews will do their best to enable disabled people to travel under acceptable conditions. Future rolling stock due in 2008 will be equipped for disabled travellers.
The trains operated by Chemins de Fer de Provence are not equipped for the transport of parcels or bicycles on board passenger trains.
